To do this, turn off the receiver and microphone, open the mic battery cap, press and hold the mic (HI LO) button for 10 seconds or more until the display channel flashes, then quickly turn on the receiver and wait for the mic channel display to stop flashing and the receiver's blue light to remain on, indicating it's ready for use.
